Christmas in the 80's

Last night Brent and I got talking about Christmas and all the toys we played with. Growing up in the 80's made for some good times! Hopefully those of you who shared the same decade will remember some of these. They put a smile on my face.

portrait in progress

I am just starting a portrait of my little sis on her wedding day. (The scanner was too small for my paper so it is a bit fuzzy at the top and really dark.) But here is a peek at the project

The Return of Miss Katie

Here she is in all of her Glory! Katie returned home from serving a mission in Chile on Oct. 27th. Welcome home little sis. (Sorry, we are cameraless right now. Thank you Amie and Toshya for letting us snatch these shots)

Katie brought these hats home for all the boyz. Mack and Spencer are proudly showing them off.

Here's to 4 years

I am a little late on this, but in Sept we celebrated our 4 year anniversary. Brent has stuck with me for that long! We have been through quite a bit in that short amount of time, but I wouldn't change a thing. He is my best friend, and Mack couldn't have a greater father. Happy 4 years my luv :)

(This was one of my favorite pictures from the summer. I haven't had a whole lot of spare time, but when I do, I have tried to start drawing again. Just wanted to share a little.)

A Little Updating

Mack and I went with my parents and grandparents to the sheep herding festival at Soldier Hollow. We had a blast watching all the dogs herding sheep, doing tricks, jumping in water etc. Mack got to milk a wooden cow, pet a turtle, ride a horse and eat a blue snow cone. He was in heaven. And then a week ago we went to the zoo with Brent's parents and Craig and Toshya. Mack was able to hang with one of his best buds Makayla.

Brent started his new job this week and we are so happy for him!! He is Nuskin's newest Global Inventory Control Auditor. He is so excited and will be traveling to his old mission stomping grounds in Italy. (I am hoping to stow away on a few of his trips) I am also SO excited and ready to cut back a few hours at work to spend some time at home with MACK! We are all very happy.

"I get by with a little help from my friends"

Mack is a very lucky boy! He has so many close cousins that are his BEST buds. It is so much fun watching them grow up together. He has Josh, Spencer and Makayla that were all born within 6 months of each other. Good times to come. Josh and Mack
Mark and Natalie were kind enough to watch Mack for us Saturday night. We came home to this.. We have finally figured out a way to get him to sleep in a bed. Stick Josh in there with him!

So day one of potty training didn't go over as planned. It may take some time. But thanks Grandma Holley for the new briefs, we love them!

Think we might have a weed problem

So what we thought was a unique little plant, turns out to be a unique little weed. That unique little weed is now out of control!

Our camera is really bad so the shot is blurry. This is a picture of the storm rolling in today. It was pretty intense

Transformers. It's the new twinkle twinkle little star

video
We haven't had a lot to post. Just working day in and day out. When I am home, we play. So I thought I would share a few of Mack's latest and greatest. This is his new favorite song :) Every night I ask him what he wants me to sing, and he starts busting out "Transformers, robots in the sky". I don't have the heart to tell him that the song is robots in disguise. It sounds better his way. I wish I had more of the whole song, but I had to hide the camera even to get this out of him.

Mack is big on doing things the easy way. He considers this one of the perks of living in a former grandparents home.

Our niece Emma Jane was blessed last Sunday, June 7th. She was such an angel! Emma wore the same blessing dress that my sisters and I all wore. Mack is so excited to have a babyemmel in the family. As are WE! I know this little sweetheart will receive lots of Love :)

Welcome sweet baby Emma

We are so excited to have baby Emma Jane enter the Tadje family last Thursday!! After being induced, my sister Amie gave birth to her fifth baby. Her four boys were thrilled :) It is so fun to see some pink already! Emma was 9lbs 2oz, the biggest of the bunch. She is a sweet heart, and I wish I could hold her right now. I think Mack is ready for a sibling, he walked around all day after the hospital saying, "Where's babemma??" Both she and Amie are doing really well. Congrats Tadje fam on a job well done!
